Since being founded in 2012 by internationally recognized dermatologist Dr. Diana Trusky, Associated Dermatologists has consistently been heralded as New Jersey's premier dermatology and minimally-invasive aesthetics clinic. Dr. Trusky has over 30 years experience and has pioneered as a woman in the dermatology medical field. She is Chief of Dermatology at Riverview Hackensack Meridian Hospital and is affiliated with Memorial Sloan-Ketteran Cancer Center in Middletown, New Jersey.

DERMAPLANING

Dermaplaning is used to treat deep acne scars with a hand-held instrument called a dermatome. The dermatome looks like an electric razor and has an oscillating blade that moves back and forth to evenly "skim" off the surface layers of skin that surround the craters, or other facial defects. Dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that removes the top layers of your skin. The procedure aims to remove fine wrinkles and deep acne scarring, and make your skin’s surface look smooth.
